Sarah Mantell

Welcome! My name is Sarah Mantell and I graduated summa cum laude with my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in June 2021. In September, 2022 I began my PhD at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Currently, I'm interested in all things algebra and am reading about topological quantum field theory. In the past I've worked on various image processing and machine learning projects and spent some time as an undergraduate studying operator theory. Outside of academia, I enjoy baking/cooking, working with various art mediums, and knitting.
